Title: Marinated Mirliton

12 Mirlitons
10tbVinegar (cider)
1/2tsThyme, powdered
2tbSalt
1cCorn oil
1/2tsOregano, powdered
1/2tsRed pepper flakes
  Garlic cloves (whole)>>>>> as desired.
  Garlic powder to taste

Peel and remove seed from mirlitons and cut into bite size pieces. In lge. pot of boiling water, place mirlitons and cook for no more than 3 min. Drain and cool. Make up marinade and pour over mirlitons.
